The movie that said reptiles (or dinosaurs, to be more precise) can't see something unless it's moving was Jurassic Park. In the movie, all you had to do to escape from the T Rex was stand still! Sounds unlikely, huh. Turns out the raptors weren't like that - standing still didn't work with them. Nothing worked with them.
