you have to find some sort of physical characteristic

for me, Criss has a yellow spot in the front tip of his shell and is a bit bigger than Angel whose tail curls up at the tip

I tell mine apart by the markings on their bellies.
-Tinkerbell 2 1/2" RES
-Mack 3" RES
-Franklin 3" RES

they traded their personalities

i tell them apart by their patterns on the shell
it works :)

I had 3 at one point and it took me awhile to figure out who was who.. but the markings on their shells were very different.. so that's how I told them apart. At some point they also were different sizes..

Both of mine have drasticly (IMO) different shells, so its very easy for me to tell them apart, but my boyfriend has a hard time with it...lol
