General Care Discussion :: Good store/Vet in Toronto

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good reptile store in the greater Toronto, Canada area.
I have been using the major names, Petsmart etc but at times I find them expensive and don't always have good choice.
I am willing to travel east or west, Hamilton etc.

As well any vet recomendations?

There is a large reptile store called Reptilia in Vaughan, I've never been but it was recomended by the reptile guy at Superpet, here is the website if ya want to check it out:

As for vets I haven't (fingers crossed) had any issues but I did find an animal hospital that mentions turtles ( sad but its the best I've found locally)

Actually I just went and visited Reptilia as a store don't waste your time, it really doesn't have anything that Petsmart doesn't and for me the 45 minute drive isn't worth the slightly lower prices. But it's also a zoo dedicated to reptiles so if you want to check that out... I think it was $12 admission for adults.

Funny I was just there today. We were in that area so it was worth checking out. I agree there was really no deals and nothing I could not get at petsmart.

I was thinking of checking out some stuff on line see how much it costs with shipping etc.

I am looking for a good UV/UVB Heat light. There are costly and are worth the price but har d to find.
