I have been trying to feed them veggies for weeks, but they only eat pellets and shrimp, they bite on carrots and lettuce once in a while, very rare, not serious at all......is there any formulated veggie food I can buy from pet store? thx...

I suggest you withhold the pellets and the shrimp (shrimp should be a treat not a staple food) and float some romaine lettuce in the water, eventually they'll get hungry and eat it.

How big are they?

There is some amount of veggies in most pellets, you might want to check the ingredients. I think there was also a recent post about making pellets, perhaps you can try to make your own.

they are both 3 months old, but one is 1.5 inch already, the other is 1 1/4 inch. the bigger one eats like pig, swallows whole pellet. i checked their favorate pellet, veggie part includes soy, oat, and corn
