my turtle looks like it has alergae on the sides of the shell it is all green and i put the block medicene thing but it does not desolve like it use to when i had the first on i'm worried it might affect the turtle badly

Algae is totally harmless. You could try to scrub it off with a soft toothbrush if you want.

If its a turtle shaped white thingy, don't use it. Can you post a picture? How much water do you have... filtration... sunlight.... please offer any details!
