Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

it's been raining for days in vancouver
the water quality has been really bad
health officials warned people to boil water before use
i am wondering if turtles can use boiled water?
or is it better to use the tap water?????

plz help ASAP
ive changed my tank water
and put the turtles back in

hmmmmm, boiled water, theoretically, would be safe. I'm paranoid though, I would end up getting some bottled water or something.
From the homegrowers soul, straight to his lungs. That's the method that I myself find fun. Start from seed and then you'll see, just how fun homegrowing can be.

Boiled water should be fine. Just make sure it is cooled down before you add it to the tank! LOL!

Just what I was going to say :P

However, I don't think boiling does anything for the turbidity (I know it was really high after the storm), it just kills the "nasties". So it might take the filter a while to make the water clear.
