I'm just curious. Maybe I should save up for their college tuitition and set up their RIA accounts :D

I heard everything from 20 years to 60 years! A long time by any standard! Several people on here have turtles at or almost at 20 years. Someone commented that some scientists think turtles don't die of old age - they just get older and older until they get hurt or sick.

My husband and I are youngish retirees but we figure Spot, who's three, could outlive us, so we're having to make provisions in our wills for his long term care. Seriously.

Hahahaha! Thats what Im thinking too Spotsmama! I have heard with proper care anywhere from 30 to 60 years also! :)
