That's the version most people buy for RES. I think there is another type of non-prescription eye drop out there... don't recall the name.

I just notice that Remy (my 4inch male RES) tends to have his eyes shut a lot but then it could just be he likes to close his eyes a lot. I was just wanting to know what brand of eye drops are good in case he does end up having eye problems.

those eye drops can be used for preventing eye problems,correct me if im wrong.

I believe that version of eye drop works. Just make sure it makes contact with your RES's eyes. Also, careful not to use it too much.

I read on here that if you can't get it directly into the eye that getting it on the eyelids will be good enough. Is that true ?

Getting it on the eyelid is good enough. I've just gone thru eye treatments with three turts with the stuff you mentioned. Works great. However, unless you know for sure it's an eye problem, only apply once a week (at most) for prevention.....
