my turtle also loves to go between the black bars and the tank. he is about 5 or 6 inches now.. and he doesnt have any problems getting stuck. he is strong enough to unstick the suction cups when he goes through. in fact, i am CONSTANTLY sticking them back on. its become an every day thing. he pulls them off, i stick em back on

I had some real plants in here, and he never touched them. But when one became dislodged and floated to the surface, it was completely gone in a couple of days. They eventually all ended up this way. But as long as they stay on the bottom, he won't touch them. I'm hoping that'll be the case with fake plants. I don't want him to try and eat them.
