Hi Everyone,

I have a question. When my two baby res bask their shell looks dried out and gets white lines. However that only happens if they bask.

Thank you...

How long have you had them? Were their shells like this to begin with?

What kind of set-up do they have? Do you have hard water (with lots of minerals in it?) What's their diet like?

A pictures of those shells dry would be helpful...

I had them for 7 months now. I just now noticed the dried out look on their shells. I have a 40g tank with the basking light and uvb/uva light. I use tapwater. i feed them reptomin baby pellets. they won't eat any veggies. i tried to take a picture but you won't be able to tell on that.
