I just bought an exo-terra "glow light" clamp lamp and I am not sure how to put this thing together as there are no instructions. It comes with the lamp, a metal clamp and these 2 metal pieces that are screwed together. I tried looking at the picture of the lamp, but I am still confused as to how it is supposed to be put together. I feel so useless, help me!

This is from memory...Is there a little metal ball at the end of the piece that holds the bulb? If so, this has to fit in between the clamping pieces which are then tightened with the screw.

don't feel bad, I had the same situation when I got the same clamp. There's no assembly instructions and I felt stupid for a while.

There should be 3 parts to it (and most other clamp lamps). The ball Marisa mentions should be at the tip of the metal clamp. A wingnut (?) is used with the 2 round pieces which grasp the base of the dome.

If you still need assistance, I'll try to find another pic or take one of my lamp.

Dont stress asking, the first time i pulled it out, i looked at it. Looked at the box, looked back at the light and then screamed out DAD!!!!!!, right after yelling it though i slowly got it figured out... Just seems like an iffy way to keep things attached.
