is it ok to clean fake plants and docks in 9 parts water, 1 part bleach and risnse well? this is what in read to do with fish tank plant i was woundring if it was safe for turtles too.

You can, but you have to make absolutely sure that it is rinsed well. If there is any doubt, let them sit out for awhile.

When I clean my plants, I just use and old toothbrush and rub the leaves. Same for the dock.

i let my dock grow a nice cover of algae on it, i actually liked how it looked. Then i cleaned it off.

The corkbark basking areas my turtles have all have some algae on them, and I just leave it because I also thing it looks nice. Some of their rocks and leaves on their plastic plants are also a deep green.
