will it take place in or out of the water?

Open-mouth breathing as in a symptom of an RI (respiratory infection)? It would be most noticable when the turtle is out of the water, on the basking area.

Opening the mouth under water to expell air (bubbles) is not the same thing.

Thanks. I really didn't know. Basically, when they were under water today, I noticed they kept opening their mouths when they were near the bottom, but not while they were basking.

oh, theyre just yawning then. my turtle tyco usually lets out a mighty yawn once in a while.
From the homegrowers soul, straight to his lungs. That's the method that I myself find fun. Start from seed and then you'll see, just how fun homegrowing can be.
