I'm sure that a turtle like this one could not survive in the wild here for very long. Right now it is below zero degrees outside!
We're pretty sure that she was either released by someone who couldn't care for her anymore. Or maybe she escaped, ha ha ha.
Beyond that, we don't know anything.
She was in terrible shape when we found her. She was dehydrated, hungry and angry ha ha ha. She would bite at us when we went near her. Her shell and skin were colorless and dull compared to what they are like now. After a few weeks of good meals she shed.
