this may be a dumb question. me and my gf have some turtles.. red eared sliders. they arent very big, but they are growing quickly and we really loved having small turtles and we're not too sure about having a really big turtle... is there any turle species that stay small???

Russian tortoises are dry land turtles that stay small (around 4").

Redearsliders get huge,over 12 inches long and require huge enclosures over 120 gallons.

Don't male Map turtles stay small???

Yes, they are smaller relative to RES and some of the other aquatic species.
