General Care Discussion :: Fish for turtle tank

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I'm looking for information about keeping neon tetras. I'd like to add some color/life to my 125gal res tank. I don't care if they get eaten.

I know the temps and such. What I'm concerned with is, will they eat the waste/uneaten food left by the turtles? I've kept minnows, guppies and goldfish in that tank and I've never had to feed them. In fact, it would be a royal pain.

Any info is appreciated. I've googled and all the care sheets say what to feed (of course because care sheets are designed for people who intend to feed their fish..lol) but it doesn't say if they'll eat the crap.
