Give them some more time to get used to you. :)

I'm not home anymore ever either and I worry so much about Leo basking because when he was younger he used to bask all the time... and when I'd walk in the room I'd just hear a *plop*! lol I assume- and I hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong because I've been banking on this- if their shells continue to stay strong and healthy that means they're basking as much as they need to!! :?:

iac637's cohabitator here, she never tells me what she puts on here. But this topic gives me an idea...we'll sneak another dock under the first one when the turtles aren't looking, they'll never know what hit them! ...The conversation between the turtles would go....

Columbus: Whoa! I feel like I've been here before. It's like America all over again.
Einstein: According to my theory on relaturtility you possibly could have swam back in time.
Turbo: I swim fast enough to do that.

I asked him he got home today and he explained it. I was just to put another dock in there to trick them to bask more.

OoO lol

can anyone tell me if what I thought was true though, I'm still very curious about it, if the shell seems healthy and strong does that show signs of basking (since many of us can't seem to catch ours basking)?
