At what age or size do res start laying eggs? I got hatchlings this past December and one has already doubled her size. she keeps acting weird like digging through the rocks and just sitting on the bottom of the tank is this a sign she is ready to lay eggs or is it too early
Here's some info on egg laying. If your turtle is only three months old she's too young to be laying eggs. How large is she? Measure her shell length from front to back not counting the curve in her shell.
