General Care Discussion :: I know this may be too early but

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Is my RES hatchling getting to know me as it's feeder? It begs for food on the glass and I sometimes lead him to pellets that the water carries away by putting my finger on the tank and letting him/her follow it.

That is cool isnt it?!

Just incase?! Dont feed your baby every time it begs...keep it on a schedule if you already have one, awesome, if not..please read about feeding on this site. You will have a BIG baby with some growth issues if you feed it all the time.

Its hard to NOT give in to the cute baby face "begging"..but you have too! :)

Good luck!
