General Care Discussion :: Transporting Turtles to vet?

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I have a big plastic storage crate that I transport Sheba in. This is one of those crates where the on top has 2 flap plastic hinged pieces that "mesh" together when you close them. That way I can either choose to leave the crate open in the car as I am driving with her, & just close the top gently when I am walking into the vet (like in the middle of winter). I like it because the top pieces are attached to the crate, so I can't lose the top when I am not using this container.
