Hello fellow RES owners. I am concerned about Fluffy's shell. She has white spots on it. I put some pics below:

it doesnt look like anything to me, I wouldn't be too worried. but we need second opinions, that's just me.

It looks to me like scrapes and chips, all appear to be in the high points on the shell. None of those white spots are soft or smell? Maybe it's from bumping things inside the tank.

I agree with greygoose. Also, another thing it could be is the shell thinning out in spots. I have had some issues with Sheba this year where there were tiny thin spots in the shell, showing white thru. Vet told me to give more dark leafy greens (which I have been doing anyway) and get a nice strong UVB lamp. Clean water also (but that goes without saying). Vet said that if the spots ever grow out, then it may take several years (shell grows very slowly in big turtles).

Fluffy has a very friendly face....very sweet turtle you have there!
