Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I'm leaving for a vacation Sunday night to tuesday evening. How long can my four month old turtles live without pellets (they have about fifteen guppies swimming around)? or else I need to get my neighbor to feed them. Can they go a day and a half without pellets? Thanks!

It should be fine for that long. I personally would put some water plant in there while i were gone just in case, but you should be fine

A day and a half is no problem. Water plants sound like a good idea.

With 15 fish in there they would have plenty to eat for a day and a half but the veggies are a good idea.
I have 5 RES, 2 ASN, and 1 DBT

Someone on here, megcornell I believe, said that she got a bunch of feeder fish for her turtle before she left on vacation but they'd all been eaten before she even finished packing! She said turtles just don't understand about food budgeting!
