Yikes! Yes, you must be careful with sharp objects! lol
Yea, I almost cut my knee off with a chainsaw a few years back. I wasn't being careful enough while I was clearing a new trail through the woods. I had taken down the big trees and was trying to clear the little saplings with the chain saw. I was working too quickly 'cause I was tired and it was getting late (big mistake) and I was croutching down cutting a swath from side to side with the saw and then taking a step forward and cutting again. At one point while I was moving the saw back from left to right, it snagged on a really green sapling just as I was taking the next step forward with my left leg. I walked right into the saw blade while it was running and immediately I yanked up on the saw and pulled my knee back. Then I looked down, saw the tear in my jeans, followed a few seconds later by a gush of blood.
I wound up trying to tape it up and hobbled around for the rest of the evening, but when i tried to drive my truck back down the hill I popped open the wound again while I was working the clutch with my left foot. This time i couldn't stop the bleeding so when I finally got home, my wife rushed me to the ER. It took 17 stitches to close it up. The worst part was when they had to cut away all the tattered flesh before they could sew it up. man that hurt!
woa, there I go rambling again! sorry...
