i was just trying to make due with what i have (trying to trade the ones i have for bigger ones, at no fee..im cheap!..haha..)
and yea, im going to have it where i can easily take everything out of the tank by hand (if i need to take it out)

im also looking at these fake plants that are like a rug ( its like a flat square or rectangle shape (approx 12 X 12 inches, or so..) with short, maybe 1 inch or so plants covering the topside) and a river rock combination.. anyone know what im talkin about here?.. the square of small fake plants all on one?

and yes xsavings; i was thinking about that, when hes bigger, he could mistake my finger for his dinner!..haha

he was at ABOUT 1-1/8 inches when i first measured him..
plan on measuring him again next week..but i will probably end up measuring him before that!..haha

Hey Twoster-

I have 4. Two of then are 6", two of them are 2.5". I feed the little ones the baby pellets just like yours. They get my fingers every once in awhile, but they are so small that it doesn't hurt at all. My bigger turtles still get my fingers occasionally, and they do hurt a little bit. I've figured out a way to hold the pellets better for them tho, so that they don't really get me at all.

Glad to hear he's doing better! If you want to put just a handful of larger rocks on there, they like pushing them around. I wouldn't fill the bottom with rocks though.

haha yea..i m sure it wouldnt hurt too bad..my friend used to have a pet rat..and he would nibble at me sometimes.. and yea it took the rocks out..and i used old, different colored spraypaint lids for ghetto plant pots..i picked out some of my larger pebbles for substrate in the lids..it looks nice..i just need a lil something on the bottom..and thanks
