Its probably nothing, but it never hurts to keep a close eye on things :)

My turtle Climber does the same thing all the time. I feel bad when I don't feed her.

how big does the turtle have to be before it has eggs? cus im pretty sure i lied about 2 inches lol im gonna measure her soon

yeah...i was definitely wrong..i just measured her. shes about 4 1/4" lol my bad. so could she be gravid?

Not necessarily. How old is she? Is there any other signs of distress (not basking, basking too much, not eating, not pooping).

Do you have gravel in the tank?

no the bottom is totally bare. all thats in there is the turtle, the filter, the heater, the dock, and a thermometer. shes gonna be moving into my new 65 gallon tank tomorrow or the day after. should i not put rocks in?

You don't have to, I don't have any, but if you feel the need to put rocks in, make sure there bigger then your turtles head, or they will try to eat them!! :shock:

my turtle does that when i leave a out of my bedroom(that is where she stays) and she won't stop until i come back.

I doubt it, but only a vet visit xray could tell you for sure. 4" should be too small to lay eggs. Most females don't start laying eggs till they are almost 6" long (IF they ever lay eggs....some do, some don't).

I guess I could ask the obvious question: do you know for a fact that your turtle is a girl? Long front claws & thick long tail means it is a boy. If you aren't sure, post a picture & we can let you know! :)

lol. my turtle does that every time I put a pencil up to the aquaium. It's like she's trying to attack it or something
