Every time I walk in the room Daytona will swim to the top splashing and try to swim through the glass so, I feed her she eats like she is starving and has been eating way more that she should be she even has been eaten from my hand but her going crazy when I walk in is she just excited or should I be concerned? :?

no matter how much food i give cheech & chong, they're always begging like they're starving...

i wouldn't be concerned.

Nope. It's actually common, its something called..begging! Begging for food! Keep in mind that daytona is probably already full (a few pellets and some veggies is enough to keep them stuffed) its important that you not give into begging, as you probably already know..too much food can cause rapid growth and pyrmading, which can be fatal in the long run. Keep her daytona and franklin on a strict feeding schedule. :)

Try soaking lettuce in tuna water & they will magically fall in love with it!

My little Cheerios does this the most of my two. I love to feed him so I just set out the amount of pellets he should have then through out the day feed him. This way I don't feel bad about ignoring his begging or that I am over feeding him. I also let him take them from my hand, I just think it is so cute. Here is a video of him at feeding time. He is swimming around normal then he just goes crazy I call it being giddy. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea ... 2025410322

I'm way jealous. I swear my turtle still thinks I'm a bobcat or something.
