My turtle is peeling from the arms legs and neck. It made his cage dirty. I dont know what to do. Will it go away. Am I over feeding. I have had him for 2 weeks. I read it may be overfeeding. Please help me what am I doing wrong. What do i do to stop it.

If its thin, translucent and wispy, then it is skin shedding. It's normal, but can be excessive in warm water and when overfed.

what is the temp of the water in the tank? If it is too warm (more than 80 degrees F), then you can turn it down to about 78 (for a baby) or 76 (adult turtle). This helps a lot. I used to have the same problem until I turned down the water temp. Even just one degree makes a big difference in shedding.
