Welcome to the forum. If the insects are dead from being sprayed with pesticides, it is NOT safe to feed them to your turtle (please use a little common sense here). Most likely the poison in the pesticide will collect in the turtle's system and eventually poison him or at the very least cause neurological damage. DON'T feed them to your turtle! Throw them out.

If you want to feed your turtle insects occasionally, go buy some crickets from a petshop and/or get some earthworms that you know haven't been near any pesticides.

How big is your turtle? What else do you feed him besides insects? What kind of set-up do you have for him?

Umm, insects killed with insecticide are dead because they have absorbed the insecticide. They are now poisonous because they are full of the insecticide. So...if insecticide is poison, and the dead insect is dead because it absorbed the poison, common sense would tell us that if you feed them to your turtle, then your turtle will die from the poison. :?
