General Care Discussion :: cut INSIDE mouth

my RES has a cut inside its mouth. right at the front.
the only explanation i can come up with is that on sunday, i fed him a cricket. i think the cricket cut him when the turtle caught him.

is that possible?
what can i do?
i am going out of town until to thursday, so i will tell my petsitter to keep an eye on this.

Yes its possible. I would probably feed it soft foods (like presoaked pellets) and make sure that the water is very clean. If the bleeding is severe or doesn't stop after a day or two, then I would take him to a herp vet.
