General Care Discussion :: he is.. uhm digging?

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Post Posted: Sun Jul 01, 2007 6:01 pm   he is.. uhm digging?

nimrod is digging under my grass in the yard, well actually its kind of like shoving his head below the grass and pulling the rest of his body under.

i keep an eye on him when he is outside dont worry.
and i make sure he has shade.
and i only keep him out for a little bit so he doesnt get dehydrated.

so what is he doing?
just going to the cool dirt?
or hiding?
or just being the curious little turtle that he is?

my sister said that he knows that out in the yard is where i buried savage and so he is trying to find him.

but i dont think thats it!

does anybody elses turtle do that?

I'd say he's hiding. Or at least trying to.

What are the temps? My RES would partially bury herself outside if it was too warm for her liking.
