Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

LOL never thought of it as a giant crater but now that you mention it, it's kinda hilarious!

Anyway, do you guys have to clean your turtle after feeding? A few of the food sticks I feed Tinky seems to get stuck inside occasionally, in between his head and front claws if you get what I mean. I had to put him in clean water and try to get them out as he swims around.

??

they actually stick to the turtle??

they're the floating kind, right? don't you usually just have to poke the turtle underwater to get it out?

I've never experienced this with Serra...she eats them as soon as she sees them. If it got stuck on her it would be a nightmare for her. (Food so close, yet out of reach) lol!

Lol I don't know how it gets stuck there but yeah, I have to poke him underwater to shake it out which he doesn't like as he starts trashing around when I do that.

Anyway, do RES sleep on land? Mine sleeps on land all the time and only goes into the water for drinking. Is that weird?
