General Care Discussion :: mature at 4 inches?

i thought they were 12" long when they were mature.
my Terr&Tull are both around 4inches. and im really sure theyre male. ... i think. if i put up a pic of them, will someone be willing to try to tell what they are?

Im sure someone will be able to tell you if their male or female from the pictures. Put some up.

ive realized that my turtles are both female. that means theyre more lenient of each other right? but it also means theyll get bigger.... right? how long does it take for 2 female turtles to read their biggest size? ... approximately

Two females generally get along better with each other than two males, but it also depends to some extent on the turtles...And females will ultimately be larger than males. Both grow the most and fastest in the first 3 years, then continue but at a slower rate. Growth is also dependent on genetics, diet and habitat.
