I just found a GIANT RES on the side of the road, laying her eggs in the road! I picked her up and when I did the egg that was coming out got sucked back in...Anyways I went home and filled up a Rubbermaid Tub with dirt and put her in it, she is digging like crazy, and she has mold growing in some places...guys I've never took care of EGGS!! HELP!! Here is a picture of her!

you should NEVER take a RES from the wild!! Put her back!!!

Are you sure there was a dog involved? The best thing to do if it is injured is to contact a wildlife rehabilitator. Where are you located?

yes yes, I just called them, they said keep her calm and let her lay her eggs..uys I'm scared I never took care of the eggs..I have 4 RES but THIS BIG MAMMA?!? SHEEZ

Go ahead and destroy the eggs. They are too common and most re-homing orgs are reluctant to take them.

she is about 11 inches long and 6 inches wide, she's soo big

Does she have any injuries from the dog? If not you should just let her lay the eggs and then release her back into a pond nearby where you found her.
The eggs probably won't hatch, so you can destroy them or leave them with the turtle, whatever you want.

Who did you call? What else did they tell you?

If I were you I'd find the pond that the turtle most likely came from and just release her there. She will come back out and dig a new nest when she's ready to lay again. But she really needs to go back to her home environment before she gets stressed more than she already has. Keeping her in a tub with dirt is probably just freaking her out even more. If she does lay the eggs in your tub, you can go back to where you found her and drop them in the original hole and cover them back up with dirt again, then let her go back to her pond.
