Hello guys, I need some help for taking care of baby RES. So I have two baby RES, just about one year, maybe less. THe problem is, they are not able to or strong enough to climb on the rock that I prepared for them to sleep, so they have to sleep under the water, would this be a serious problem? cuz I figure they have to wake up and come out of water to breath once for a while during the night. So right now, what I do is take them out of the tank before they go to bed. DO u guys have any suggestions? thank you so much. BTW, when will they be able to climb the rock?

get a dock and they normally sleep underwater and wake up every 3-4 hours or so to breath ....

That looks fine. They can't climb up or they just stay on the stairs? If they sleep on the stairs then they're just normal. They tend to like sleeping in half water.

they cant climb up unless i put the water over the top of the rock. Yes, what they do is sleep on the stairs, but still compeletly submerged

If it's high enough for them to stick their heads through then it's fine. Turtles usually sleep that way, mine does.
