Tomorrow my house is gonna have an Open House... My mom, sister, dog, and I are going to the park while the two realtors will be showing these people our house... I'm worried that some people will try to touch Serra the turtle and then when she bites them, who'd know what'll happen!! Or if there's a little kid and gets a stick to poke her or throws some playdough or other poisonous stuff in.... I don't have a lid for Serra...
I made a small sign that says DO NOT TOUCH TURTLE. TURTLE WILL BITE>

But I'm not sure if it'll be enough...
Any ideas? I wish I could stand at the door to my room and glare at anyone who tries to bother Serra :twisted:

Make sure you inform the realtor's that your turtle is off limits. They should stop anyone from messing with them. You could also put up a sign that warns about salmonella, that should scare them away.

Yea, I'll tell the realtors about Serra. But if I put up a sign about Salmonellla, that might scare them from buying our house! LOL

I'm not allowed to lock my room, my mom says the people would want to see every room.

yeap its a couple of days i got my turtles and i have noticed everyone unwanted "the turtles bite and got salmonella" :lol:

so they are safe and sound and quiet..

can you put a cover on the top of the tank just for while the house is being shown? If you put something solid on top to cover the tank, best to leave the lights off so it doesn't get too hot under the cover.

PUT A TOWELL OVER THE TANK WHEN THE PEOPLE COME.
IF THEY ASK WHAT IT IS, JUST SAY THAT YOU HAVE A SICK TURTLE AND IT DOESNT WANT TO BE DESTERBED.
AND ALSO IT IS A KILLING BEAST OF TURTLE, SO DONT DESTERB OR FEEL THE TEETH!!!!!!!!!!! MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (EVIL LAUGH)

Oh yea sorry! lol

I made a small lid out of fiberglass netting and some duct tape. Then i placed the sign overhead that says, "Do NOT TOUCH. turtle BITES."

I guessed it worked!

I'm only putting the lid on when there's an Open House.

o and when i said in my post that your turt was a killing beast of a turtle.
i didnt meen it, it was just one of my stupid ideas.
your turlte looks ever so sweet and im 100% that you turt is a beutifull happy jentle little baby.

i hate making people upset.
