yeah i relly dont like the guy, hes a real paice of work. to quot him when i asked him about the; i bought those pieces of #$%@ for my Kid but he wont &*%$&@# take cae of them so and im not doin it!!!" i just looked at him and said that id get rid of them.

thanks for all your help everyone, and this site has realy saved my bacon. im still trying to sift through it all lol

Well it sounds like your turtles are lucky that you came into their lives..seriously, you are going to grow attached to them and are going to find yourself a new hobby :wink:

Their realy great pets and very interesting to learn about. Just follow everyones advice and you should be alright :) 8)

haha at first they just sat there in the corner of my place and i didnt pay any attention because i didnt quite know what i was going to do with them. but im already growing quite atached to them, end everyone has been very helpfull.

We just got back from the cottage this evening, so im resetting up their tank but im going to take some pics on the weekend. it was fun because i was able to take my res's with me and set them up at the cottage for the past couple of weeks.

Oh my! He was going to flush them because of shell rot? Are only one of the turtles infected or both? Poor turtles, flushing them is a cruel way to kill them, it's a funeral but not a death penalty =(

no no he was gonna flush them cause he didnt want them. i was worried one had shell rot, but turns out i freaked out over my first scute shedding

Then where'd he get them? From the wild? If he got them from the wild he should have put it back in the wild. Even if he didn't get them from the wild, putting them in the wild would be more humane then flushing them alive.

Ok,flushing em' in a toilet hmmmmmmmmm..................that's one of the disgustinest thing yet?why did the ****er buy them/catch them and flush
them in the toilet?does he think turtles are something you can buy and flush them in the toilet????????what a screwed up twisted psychopath!I wish that he burns in hell and would have a terrible death!that's why I value pets over people!and thank god that you saved those poor turts!I bet they really really really apreciate it! :D :mrgreen:

yeah he got them for his kid and the kid wasnt taking care of them so he didnt want them.

they are a BALL to watch. i have the tank in a very local area, but once my son and i are in our new apartment, they are going to be beside the chair i read in.
