technically the tank is about 4 feet higher than his arm so he couldnt reach. it was in the tub when it bit him. and my turtle wasnt raised in the wild i bought them both at different ages. where I live there arnt any turtles because theres no source of water near my house. since he went into the bathroom and picked it up she bit him and he started crying.
