I see you've tried high school and middles schools -- maybe extend that to a college or university nearby? A daycare or pre-school??

I always used to do the ole' make a flyer and post it at grocery stores bit when I needed to sell things / get help / give help etc., or maybe you could try a local animal shelter and see if they take reptiles?
