We know that you were trying to do your best. But take this and learn from it. Stay around the site and build up information and than get one.. when you have all the stuff that you need . I mean they are great pets . And you did something that made you sad .. but you did it becuase you felt like it was the best for the turtle . Much Respect for doing that .

This isa great network of turtles keeps, from all around the world. So next time before you buy .. you can ask us and we will give you the information that you need .
Please excuse any spelling and/or grammatical errors. I'm dyslexic.I do my best!

man what really ticks me off is its so easy to blame the sellers for animal abuse, but in reality they're probably just as uninformed as you are, someone told them this is all the turtle needs and they thought, "hey this person breeds and supply's them so they must know what they are talking about" just like you, so why not report you for animal abuse too, the problem is there is a demand that people make for cute tiny animals, and people give into it so easily

the problem arises when sellers treat turtles as easily disposable as feeder fish, and owners give the same kind of thought and consideration as feeder fish, people forget its their responsibility to understand what they buy, never trust a salesman

at least you should know now for next time that animals are not a knee-jerk purchase and you'll have to look in to their care, diet, habitat etc. before getting another animal.
