General Care Discussion :: Money has a NASTY looking sore..HELP!!

been changing the water daily now (instead of every other day), dry docking during the day for about 6 hrs or so and putting triple antibiotic ointment on about 2-3 times during the dry docking. He is looking much better. and the underside of his hand looks alright, as in just like his other ones.
now, for another question, when money was smaller i referred to him as a "she" but when he got bigger, i compared him with the anatomy section of this website and determined "her" to be a he. but now, after reading some other posts, i really have no idea. help! i have had him for about 4 1/2 years and he was about a half dollar coin size when i got him. his shell measures 5" long, his claws are kinda long, and he has a flat belly. i tried to get a pic of the underside of his tail but he was not corroperating with me!!

With an SCL (straight carapace length) of five inches and those nails, I'd guess female. But a more accurate idea could be gotten with a pic of the tail (underside).

The flatness of the plastron is not indicative of the sex with RES as it would be with some semi-aquatics and land turtles.
