Like Steve said you have to use both those bulbs, the UVB you have does not produce heat it is just for UVB and you are correct it produces some UVA on the spectrum of light. With your lights you need both of them aimed at the basking spot. The Heat bulb will entice your turtle to bask, then the UVB flourescent will give him the UVB needed to synthesis the previtamin D into vitamin D3. Which will make your turtle have good healthy bones and shell. If you wanna learn about lighting for reptiles, google reptile lighting there is some very indept stuff out there. This website also has a very good explaination on turtle lighting requirements. I have been picking at the lighting section to see if there is any flaws and I have not found any yet, good job Steve your on it
