That's not quite right either :) There was someone who was part of this forum who had a turtle that was like 4 years old and it was only 2-3". A year old turtle should be around 3".. size isn't an indication of age however, because of the many variables. Genetics, food (high protein diet).. etc. Usually if you get a turtle that is an inch or so, you can assume it wasn't hatched all that long ago. So if you've had the turtle a year and a half you can pretty much assume it's not much older than that. Some have gotten their turtle while it still has it's eggtooth :)

LOL thats cute - I think he means(a beach) Myrtle Beach, SC- or at least thats what I hope - I am about 1 1/2 hrs from there.

I have one coming to me in mail today Fish21- right now I am using two blue sm crates with side removed and slate on top of that -but one of my turts kinda snaps at other (I honestly beleive it waits for me to leave rm -I know that sounds retarded but really think it does) so wanted to expand a little on areas.
