It doesn't really matter if they eat their own fry, because the turts are just going to eat them anyway. My breeder tank is also set up with some fake plants and other decorations that can be hiding places for the fry.

Those baby fish are soooo sooo cute!! :) I used to work at petsmart and loved when the fish would have fryes- I'd always offer to move them into an empty tank so the mama wouldn't eat them!
