^^^yeah i found mine through that link, too. very helpful.

it's good you're taking him to the vet, he does sound sick. even though you did the water change, it shouldn't cause such a drastic change in behaviour. i had to do a full water change on my 55 gallon tank, so i had to keep aeryn landbound for almost two hours while i drained, scrubbed and refilled it (i do not have proper tools to do it quicker :() and she made it perfectly clear she was po'ed about me keeping her landbound by nipping at me, and she swam off faster than the dickens. the biggest change in behaviour there was her attempt to bite me.

well when i changed pacos tank.../ i had a smaller tank that i put him in so he wouldnt get stressed out and he could swim... the water i put in it was a little colder than the tankwater so that might have either slowed him up a bit or given the RI a bigger headway on him.

he perked up a little bit this morning....he stilll hasnt eaten yetr though

i'm not going to attempt to speculate what caused the problem or what the problem is ~ i assumed john had eye problems since he was rubbing at them, but it turned out to be a bacterial infection. i would definitely say take him to the vet ASAP and do what the dr. tells you. especially if he's at the point where he's not eating now. good luck!
