Krystell,

Sorry to hear about the robbery!!! But I'm glad to hear that your turts are thriving due to the new set up you have in the rubbermaid tank. Take pics when you can!

Hi Everybody! I'm back! Wow have alot things changed here. New people, new topics, everything. Climber & Skippy are doing fine. i just got them a ZooMed turtle dock and they now live in a nice roomy tank. The dock is in a corner so it creates a nice cave were they can hide in. I also put in a plastic plant they like to hide in. I'm also thinking about getting a mirror to put in the turtles tank.

Thank you for the filter suggestion! Hopefully I can get on this week so the turts are all set for when I go to Mexico next week.

Hopefully my mom won't give away the turtles while I'm gone. I'll be terribbly upset if she does. Shes been trying to get rid of them for ages. Well, it is her fault I got turtles anyways. It was sorta an impulse buy. Me and my brother were both in Mexico and my grandma said it would be a good idea for each of us to get a pet. I wanted a cat and my brother wanted a dog. My mom said no so we looked for some other pets and we found a tank with like 100 of quarter sized turtles for sale for $1. My grandma saidit wasn't a good idea but my mom insisted so we got to turtles. Climber because she always Climbed on Skipper to get out of the "death bowl" and Skippy (for Skipper) from Gilaganes (how ever you spell it) Island. But anyways, it is sorta her fault she told me she wanted them for us because they looked cute.

But I'm getting off topic. I'm just glad to be back! :D

Welcome back! :) That's good that you were able to get them a bigger tank. I hope your mother doesn't give them away on you either. :o

how many houses do you have........??

the general rule is 10 gallons for every inch of turtle. so you need a 100 gallon tank if you want to house them together.... good luck!

post pics of your turts, pond, habitat, etc! we'd love to see them

I have 3 houses. One that I live in, one that my mom rents out (the one that was robbed), another one that my mom rents out and one that my uncle and my mom rent out together.
My turtles both live in the house I usually live in.

Here is a pic of Skippy

If you have the URL address to the picture just put it in between the image tags. It should look something like this...

{img}http://www.myserver.com/picture.jpg{/img}

except you will need to replace the squiggly brackets {} with the square ones [].

Yes, it needs to be on photobucket or something. But getting them on photobucket isn't hard. Here's a real good step by step description of how to do it once your photo is on photobucket:
