Guppies and minnows are preferable to goldfish.

Plus one about parasites. A batch came with Ich, and it was a nightmare to get that out of my tank. It spread to all of the goldfish and my huge plecostomus. Damn goldfish.

Well opus ate 3 minnows today,he didn't really like his pellets any more lol.

I had five neon tetras that i put into my turtle tank assuming they would be too fast for the turt to catch. They were gone within 10 seconds...every one of them, i wasted my time researching breeding habits :D
