That platform works real well. It doesn't float - it sticks to the wall of the tank with a bunch of suckers. Spot's a bit heavy and the platform started sliding down the wall, so (imitating another person on here, Industrial girl 2000) I got a magnetic algae cleaner and use it to help support the platform and it hasn't slipped since then. I got the platform and magnets from drsfosterandsmith.com, a very good site.
