Do pet stores in your place have male RES ? In my place, there's female only. I don't know why. I prefer male RES because they have long claws, that's cool !!

Pet stores where I live don't sell RES. Mine just showed up in the back yard one day. I don't know where he came from. He's a male and I think his loooong front toenails are way cool too!

Yes, can't agree more. Male RES are cool ! By the way, I've just installed a fan ( the same as the one used in the computer - 1.5V ) at the top of my tank to make fresh air and some wind for my RES when they basking. Is it OK ? I'll post the photo soon.

Hi all. Last week I cut a prepared cuttlebone into 4 pieces and put it floating in the tank. When they was nipped more than half, they not floating but they sung at the bottom of the tank and my RES show no interest to them. What I can do now ? Put another into the tank and take 4 halfsize-cuttlebone away ? That's not economical.

you can dry the bone out for a few hours and put it back in and it will float. Also, I make my cuttlebone into the size of a nickel.

I tried but the halfsize is sung much more sooner than the new one. I think I should put in another.
