is there anything that you can do to speed up the shedding/peeling of scutes on the shell. it will help me fix the shell rot for good. (its very minor shell rot.)

If the shell rot has stopped, then I wouldn't worry about "speeding" up normal shedding. There are bound to be some marks and scars and it can take some time to fully heal.
