It seems like Tito is so active around 10pm to 2am(when i go to sleep)

During the day he stays in his cave and stares at me

Today when i got him i sneaked on him again
and i caught him basking!

Right when i came in he jumped in the water.....

He never basks when im in the room =/

That's pretty normal for a new turtle. He's probably coming out more late at night when the rest of the house is quiet. He'll adjust to you and a more normal schedule eventually. He just needs to feel secure and absolutely certain that he is safe.
